Hey all, thought you may be interested to know how my latest film is going.

We've had the first two days of filming (on DV) and i checked the 'rushes' today and it didn't look too bad at all. i want to edit it asap cos until then it'll be difficult to know if it will work.

It's good to finally see some footage after ages (it seems) of pre-production (we've been working on it since january!!). sometimes it's had to see the woods for the trees.

We've been given the dates for the premiere and the public viewing days which are June 9th till wed 11th, so if any of you want to come along i'll put up the details when i get that.

in the meantime wish me luck as i'll probably need it.

in a sentence, a bereft father (a bit of a loner) whose grief is mistaken for adulation of children, and an incident involving a child incites a gang to seriously kick the **** out of him.

Had the third day today. ok but a bit strenuous. i think it'll be ok once we get into the editing suite. we were shooting by a school (it's ok we had permission) and the amount of times kids ruined shots. Ahh! madenning

I'll keep you updated. Even though you probably couldn't care less.
